The REALTOR Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC) has announced the approval of a grant from the National Association of REALTORS to support the 2025 OWN Cincy Housing Symposium. This three-day event aims to promote equity and expand homeownership access in the region.

Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney, also a REALTOR, leads the symposium with support from various public and private partners. Scheduled for later this summer, the event will feature a housing policy forum on its first day, hands-on workshops and a wealth-building resource fair on the second day, and a Regional Open House Day showcasing homes priced under $300,000 on the third day.

Mary Huttlinger, RAGC Government Affairs Director, expressed gratitude for the national funding. “We are honored to receive this support from NAR and proud to be part of a community-wide effort that puts real tools and solutions into the hands of residents,” she stated. She emphasized that it is about breaking down barriers to ownership.

Darrick Dansby, former Realtist President and current project lead, highlighted the broader goals of OWN Cincy. “OWN Cincy isn’t just another event—it’s a movement. We’re working with policymakers, nonprofits, lenders, and REALTORS to tackle systemic barriers and create generational wealth,” he said. He noted that the grant underscores REALTORS’ commitment to equity and community empowerment.

RAGC is collaborating with Cincinnati city officials and numerous housing partners for this initiative. Further details about registration will be released soon.
