On Tuesday, April 1, former Anderson High School standout Joshua Overbeek’s current college team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Creighton Bluejays.
The game took place at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park. This was their first matchup against the Bluejays this season.
The Cornhuskers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against Omaha Mavericks.
