On Monday, March 24, former Mount Notre Dame High School standout Laila Phelia’s current collegiate team the Texas Longhorns won 65-48 against the Illinois Fighting Illini in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Moody Center, this was the first game against the Illinois Fighting Illini during the championship.
Laila Phelia’s hometown is Cincinnati and game position is guard.
