Forest Park Senior Center has been undergoing a remodel

Aaa

Over the past three weeks, the Forest Park Senior Center has been undergoing a remodel. The building had not had any major work done to it since it opened in 2004.

New speakers, subwoofer, projector, projector screen, and touchpad controller were installed. New cabinets and countertops were installed in the kitchen and bathrooms along with a new pantry cabinet in the conference room. On the back deck, boards were replaced and repainted, and the deck and sidewalk were pressure washed. The wrought iron tables and chairs were fixed and painted. The security system was completely updated.

In the past year, we've also purchased a refrigerator and two microwaves, installed touchless soap and towel dispensers, installed a new commercial ice machine and touchless water fountain, upgraded additional audio/visual components, replaced the circular tables, and made landscaping improvements.

These improvements make it a wonderful place for our senior member programs and events as well as a meeting space for our service groups. And our weekend rentals will no doubt be thrilled to entertain their guests in the upgraded space.

If you'd like to rent the hall for your next party, graduation, or reception, please call us 513-595-5200.
