Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Ring in the holiday season by attending the Christmas Tree Lighting Festival on Saturday, Dec. 3 in Historic Downtown Loveland.

The festival is a new holiday tradition featuring fun for all ages. Admission is free.

The evening will be capped off when Mayor Kathy Bailey and emcee Randy Rico of WLWT-Channel 5 flip the switch to light the city’s Christmas tree, located along the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail.

The event will take place 4-8 p.m. in the center of Historic Downtown at Jackson Street Market (116 Karl Brown Way), a community space with outdoor seating along the Bike Trail. The tree lighting and caroling will begin at 7 p.m.

Festivities include the following:

  • Family activities like crafts and caroling
  • Live music including Matt Snow, nicknamed “The Cincinnati Sinatra”
  • Photo opportunities
  • Holiday character meet & greet
  • Food trucks & holiday treats
  • Holiday market
Additionally, the event will celebrate the season of giving. Non-perishable food donations will be collected for Loveland LIFE Food Pantry, and toys will be collected for the Ronald McDonald House Toy Drive. In fact, there will be drop bins at Jackson Street Market through Christmas to collect donations.

The 2022 Christmas Tree Lighting Festival is presented by The Shops of Brown’s Crossing at Jackson Street Market, Loveland-Symmes Firefighters Association, and the City of Loveland.

For more information about the event, please visit the Jackson Street Market’s Facebook Page or LovinLifeLoveland.com.
