Electric Aggregation Update:

This coming Tuesday Council will consider legislation authorizing the mayor or safety service director to enter into an agreement with a supplier at a price not to exceed $0.075 / KwH by May of 2023.

A few notes for anyone with questions.

There is currently no electric aggregation in the City.

The City’s broker believes Duke’s price beginning in June 2023 will be $0.095 /KwH or higher.

Our brokers are still working to get pricing as low as possible.

If our price is at or lower than 7.5 cents / KwH and Dukes is 9.5 cents, average resident that uses 1,000 KwH throughout the summer will save $20/month.

Upon moving forward, eligible residents (anyone with Duke and not another supplier) will receive Opt Out Materials in March or April of this year.
