Village Council has approved the Englewood & Canterbury Avenue Road Improvement project. Legislation has been passed and contracts will be signed in the next few weeks. Various phases of construction will move forward to replace existing curbs and asphalt over the entire length of Englewood from Losantiville Avenue to the Cincinnati corporation line. Work will also will move forward to replace existing sidewalks, curbs and asphalt from Englewood to Fair Oaks on Canterbury Avenue.

Work will be scheduled to begin shortly after the Greater Cincinnati Waters Works completes their current water main replacement project on these streets.

We will notify residents of specifics of the project as soon as details are worked out in initial construction meetings.

We understand the frustration that goes along with major residential and commercial street projects when they occur and apologize in advance for any delays, parking issues, or other inconvenience experienced during the project.

The Village of Golf Manor will not directly perform any of the work. Contractor Rack & Ballauer, who is doing the GCWW project, has been awarded the contract and will develop the construction schedule and do all of the communication, construction work and traffic/parking management. The contractor, not the Village, will directly notify you of any disruptions in traffic or changes in parking needed as the various phases of the project are carried out. We will need resident cooperation during these important changes in order to allow this project to move along as quickly as possible.

You will be able to stay up-to-date on progress of the project by visiting this page. Information will be will be posted as we get information from the contractor.
