On Friday, March 21, former Archbishop Moeller High School standout Alec Bashardoust’s current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, won 15-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the St. John's Red Storm.

The game took place at Winthrop Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Red Storm this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Winthrop Ballpark against St. John's Red Storm.
