On Wednesday, March 5, former Archbishop Moeller High School standout Alec Bashardoust’s current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

The game took place at O'Brate Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cowboys this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field against UAB Blazers.
