Former Archbishop Moeller High School standout Tristen Melvin played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Archbishop Moeller High School standout Tristen Melvin’s current collegiate team the Methodist Monarchs won 5-4 against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Hugh Stephens Field at Estes Park at 4:45 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the tournament.

The Methodist Monarchs’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Hugh Stephens Field at Estes Park.
