The second half of 2020: Home prices in Newtown increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Newtown rose by $15,000 while total sales increased by 52.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 32 homes sold, with a median sale price of $179,000 - a 9.1% increase over the $164,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Newtown in the second half of 2019.
