Rising home prices in Newtown in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Newtown rose by $53,810 while total sales decreased by 15%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 36.8% increase over the $146,190 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Newtown in the first half of 2020.
