The second half of 2021: Home prices in Fairfield increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Fairfield rose by $18,750 while total sales increased by 13.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 394 homes sold, with a median sale price of $193,750 - a 10.7% increase over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 347 homes sold in Fairfield in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Fairfield for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,185, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
