The second half of 2021: Home prices in Newtown fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Newtown fell by $9,500 while total sales decreased by 18.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $169,500 - a 5.3% decrease over the $179,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 32 homes sold in Newtown in the second half of 2020.
