Jessica Smith's daughters exclaimed, "We have an oven!" when they saw their new home for the first time. This moment highlighted the impact of community efforts and the Real Estate Build. The campaign seeks to raise $2,500 in its final days for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati (HFHGC).

On June 29, keys were handed over to Jessica Smith and her three children during a Home Dedication Ceremony. Michelle Billings, Ohio REALTORS® 2024 President-elect, and Tracy Dunne, RAGC President, welcomed them to their new home. Jessica, a single mother with children aged 5, 12, and 13, had struggled with high rental costs. Thanks to the Real Estate Build, she now has an affordable home.

The Real Estate Build brings together businesses and professionals from the industry to construct Habitat homes. This year saw 171 volunteers contribute over 1,050 hours towards making Jessica’s dream a reality.

Jessica’s daughters' excitement over their new oven underscores the mission's life-changing impact. The campaign is in its final push to raise $2,500 for HFHGC Real Estate Build. Contributions support creating opportunities for families in need.

Habitat homeowners like Jessica must meet specific criteria and invest over 250 hours of sweat equity into building their own home.

Community members are encouraged to join REALTORS® in supporting this cause by donating through the HFHGC Donation Link.

Thank you for your generosity and commitment to making a difference in our community.
