Voting for the 2025 REALTOR® Director candidates will take place from October 7 to October 17, 2024. The results will be shared via email immediately following the Annual Meeting on October 17 at noon. Only active members of the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC), including Designated REALTORS®, REALTORS®, Affiliates, and Appraisers, are eligible to vote.
There are five candidates vying for four two-year terms starting December 1, 2024. The candidates are Kevin Hildebrand from eXp Realty, Tim Roberts from Comey & Shepherd, Marie Simon from Sibcy Cline, Lee Sokolis from RE/MAX Preferred Group, and Carolyn Wedding from Re/Max Alliance.
Kevin Hildebrand brings three decades of real estate experience and has been involved in over 5,000 transactions since being licensed in Ohio in 1994. He aims to enhance respect among agents and elevate the professionalism of RAGC. "I think my 30 years of experience and being involved in over 5,000 transactions I could bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in making our board more professional," he said.
Tim Roberts transitioned into real estate after a successful career as a fashion executive in New York City. Licensed in Ohio and Kentucky since returning to Cincinnati in 2014, he leads a team of seven REALTORS® at Comey & Shepherd. His involvement with RAGC includes serving as Chair of the Circle of Excellence (COE) and on the MLS Users Committee. "Building a team of seven Realtors has prepared me to work with others to achieve a positive outcome," Roberts stated.
Marie Simon has been a licensed real estate agent for 17 years and is currently a Branch Manager at Sibcy Cline. She holds the “At Home with Diversity” designation and has managed over 225 transactions throughout her career. "I want to use my experience to empower and educate others in this industry so we can work together to meet the changes we face," Simon expressed.
Lee Sokolis has nearly two decades of experience as a salesperson licensed since 2005. She serves as Team Leader and Director of Agent Development at RE/MAX Preferred Group. Her contributions include chairing the Professional Development Committee and serving on various committees within RAGC and Ohio REALTORS®. "You cannot lead without knowing how to follow! I want to bring the value of the Association to the Membership," Sokolis commented.
Carolyn Wedding brings over 30 years of real estate expertise as a Broker Associate at ReMax Alliance with GRI designation. She has served on multiple committees within RAGC, Ohio REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. "Most of all, I want you to know I appreciate the opportunity to represent our membership," Wedding said.
The election will determine which four candidates will serve two-year terms commencing December 1, contributing their varied experiences towards advancing RAGC's mission.
