The REALTOR Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC) is highlighting the contributions of its Affiliate members, with a focus this month on Patti McClister. Her involvement with RAGC showcases her dedication and commitment to the real estate community.

Patti McClister, who was interviewed by Leslie Besl, has been a member of RAGC for two years after spending 20 years with CABR before relocating to Cincinnati. During her time at RAGC, she has served on the Affiliate Committee.

When asked about the benefits of being a member, McClister said: "The opportunity to give back to the industry, the opportunity to network with Realtors and Affiliates, which allows me to learn and partner with great people."

McClister began her career as a Loan Processor in 1992 and became a Loan Officer in 1995. Reflecting on her biggest career achievement, she stated: "I served in several leadership positions throughout my career, and helping others achieve success and grow their businesses was almost as satisfying as sitting at closing with a buyer who never thought they would own a home."

For those starting out in the business today, McClister advises: "Remember that what you do is important. You impact lives every day, and sometimes, the right answer is 'not yet.' Helping someone get a mortgage is not a one-and-done thing. You build relationships with people and become part of their lives. Give them the advice, patience, and kindness you would give to your family members."

In her personal time, McClister enjoys riding tandem bicycles with her husband on local bike paths. She also likes reading, crocheting, and playing fetch with her Chihuahua named Piper.
