The Real Estate Community Build is set to take place from June 5 to June 28 in the City of Lockland. This initiative aims to bring together real estate professionals and businesses to construct a Habitat for Humanity home, focusing on affordable housing solutions for families earning between 30% and 80% of the area's median income.

"Building a strong foundation for families: For the first time, the Real Estate Community Build brings together businesses and professionals in the real estate industry to construct a Habitat home," reads a statement about the event's purpose. The project emphasizes the importance of collaboration within the real estate sector to help families achieve affordable homeownership.

Volunteers can participate in team volunteer days scheduled from Wednesday through Saturday, with shifts running from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. "With your support: All partner homebuyers must demonstrate a reliable source of income as well as invest 250 hours of sweat equity in their home and in education classes," organizers state.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels, including Gold Partner ($5,000), Silver Partner ($2,500), and Contributing Partner ($1,000). Each sponsorship tier offers different benefits such as team build days, listings on-site and online platforms, social media exposure, and recognition in reports and newsletters.

Interested parties can sign up teams or become sponsors by contacting Cathy Petersman at cpetersman@cincyrealtoralliance.com. Additional information is accessible on Habitat Cincinnati's website.
