Members of the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati are being encouraged to participate in a new survey aimed at assessing the City of Cincinnati's processes related to real estate. The initiative seeks feedback on various aspects, including permitting procedures, as part of efforts to streamline and improve these systems.

Councilmember Reggie Harris and his team have shown interest in the survey results, which they believe will be instrumental in shaping future policies. The survey is designed to support Cincinnati’s Connected Communities initiative by identifying opportunities and barriers within residential housing development.

The groups invited to take part include residential and commercial realtors, builders, and real estate investors. This collaborative effort involves several organizations: REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, Greater Cincinnati Realtists Association, Greater Cincinnati Homebuilders Association, Commercial Real Estate Council of Greater Cincinnati, and Real Estate Investors Association of Greater Cincinnati.

The University of Cincinnati’s Economics Center for Education and Research is overseeing the survey's development and implementation. Participants are asked to share their experiences doing business with the city through an electronically distributed questionnaire. The deadline for completing the survey is May 17.

Organizers stress that participation is vital for the success of this project and encourage sharing the survey link widely among members.
