Home sales and median prices in the Greater Cincinnati area saw an increase in November 2024 compared to the same month last year, as reported by the REALTOR Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. The number of homes sold reached 1,376, marking a 15.1% rise from November 2023 when 1,195 homes were sold. The median sales price increased by 5.7%, reaching $291,251 compared to $275,545 in November of the previous year.

Tracy Dunne, President of the REALTOR Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, commented on these trends: “The Greater Cincinnati housing market continues to show strength, with both sales activity and median prices exhibiting solid, stable growth as we near the end of the year, combined with moderating interest rates.” Dunne also noted a "steady uptick" in available homes for sale which could provide more options for buyers.

Year-to-date figures show a 2.7% increase in home sales across Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren counties with total sales reaching 15,974 by November's end. This is up from 15,549 during the same period last year. The median price over this eleven-month span was recorded at $295,500—a rise from $280,000 during January-November 2023.

The data was compiled from reports within the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati and includes residential closings from new and existing single-family homes and condominiums. The REALTOR Alliance represents over 5,600 real estate professionals committed to ethical practices.

"The REALTORS throughout Greater Cincinnati are experts at helping buyers and sellers successfully navigate today’s competitive marketplace," added Dunne.
