Commissioner Shannon Jones recently visited the Realtor Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (RAGC) to engage in discussions about Warren County's growth, zoning, and future development. The meeting provided an opportunity for RAGC board leaders and members to explore key issues affecting one of Ohio's fastest-growing regions.

Warren County is currently the third fastest-growing county in Ohio and maintains a zero debt status. During the discussion, Commissioner Jones shared insights into the county’s budgeting priorities, focusing on balancing infrastructure needs with preserving farmland, especially between I-75 and I-71. As development progresses rapidly, zoning and land-use policies are critical topics for real estate professionals and the community.

Commissioner Jones invited RAGC to attend an upcoming County Commission meeting to present the Southwest Ohio State of Real Estate report. This event will allow RAGC members to share market trends, housing challenges, and industry perspectives directly with county leadership.

The RAGC Advocacy Committee is dedicated to building relationships with elected officials through monthly meet-and-greet sessions. These gatherings aim to facilitate open dialogue, collaboration, and proactive solutions for balanced growth and development in Southwest Ohio.

RAGC expressed appreciation for Commissioner Jones's engagement with their members and looks forward to continuing these discussions. Updates on upcoming advocacy initiatives will be shared soon.
