Forest Park Duke Energy Natural Gas

Forest Park Duke Energy Natural Gas customers

Did you tell Duke Energy to turn off your natural gas this summer?

Do you want to participate in the City’s Natural Gas Aggregation Program?

If the answer is “YES” to both of these questions, you probably WOULD NOT have received an AEP Energy’s letter informing you that you had been automatically enrolled in the City’s Natural Gas Aggregation Program. The reason for not receiving this letter and not being automatically enrolled is that you did not have an “active” Duke Energy natural gas account when AEP Energy received Duke Energy’s natural gas mailing list.

If you want to enroll in the program, below are several ways in which you can do this. It is VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE A DUKE ENERGY BILL with you when you contact those listed below. You will need to provide them with your natural gas ‘Choice Service ID’ that can be found on your Duke Energy bill or by calling Duke Energy. It is a 22-digit number in this format…XXXXXXXXXXXXZ000000000, where the first 12 digits are your Duke Energy account number, followed by the letter Z, and then 9 digits that are unique to your natural gas service.

Online:

Enter your address to verify you are in the community boundaries and then enter your Duke information.

Phone:

AEP Energy’s opt-in number is 888-659-3888.

You can always reach out to Energy Alliances (513-794-5555) and they can help you navigate this process. They are Forest Park’s energy consultants.
