Home sales and median prices in the Greater Cincinnati area saw an increase in September 2024 compared to the same month last year, according to the REALTOR® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. In Butler, Hamilton, and Warren counties, home sales reached 1,492, marking a 3.1% rise from the previous year's figure of 1,304 sales. The median sales price climbed to $302,000 from $279,000 in September 2023.

Year-to-date statistics show that from January to September 2024, home sales activity increased by 3.1% compared to the same period last year. A total of 13,464 homes were sold during this timeframe versus 13,059 homes a year ago. The median price for this period was $298,450—an increase from last year's $280,000.
The data is compiled from activities reported in the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Cincinnati and includes residential closings for new and existing single-family homes as well as condominiums.
